The HR Payroll Associate is primarily responsible for handling the Payroll of the assigned company and ensuring the accuracy and timely release of salaries. Also, he/she is in charge of handling the payroll-related information from collection to processing, filing, and reporting.
In addition to payroll responsibilities, the HR Payroll Associate will also support various HR functions from time to time, contributing to employee-related administrative tasks and documentation.
To succeed in this role, you need to have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy/ Accounting Technology/ Finance/ Business Math or equivalent.
- At least 1 -3Year(s) of working experience in both timekeeping and Payroll is an advantage.
- Candidate must demonstrate strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Candidate must be highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Candidate must be willing to work in ALVA Building, C. Raymundo Ave. Pasig City.
What will you do?
1. Checks/generates attendance every payroll cut-off.
2. Inputs in the Payroll System all pertinent information on salaries, adjustments, shifts, cost charging, deductions, loans, holding of salary, and the like every payroll cut-off.
3. Assists the Payroll Head in the computation of 13th month pay every May and December of each year.
4. Assists the Payroll Head in the release of leave conversion at the start of each year.
5. Monitors the status of the overtime budget to help ensure fund availability.
6. Prepares OT Charging Report every 17th and 2nd working days of each month.
7. Arranges Journal Entries every 17th and 2nd working days of each month.
8. Prepares Payroll Charging Report every 2nd working day of each month.
9. Processes and issues ATMs to employees at least a day before payout.
10. Assists the Payroll Head in the generation/preparation of the Annual Income Tax (2316) and Alpha List.
11. Assists the Payroll Head in audit and DOLE compliance.
12. Computes and processes terminal pay within 1 to 2 working days for clearances received every 1st and 3rd weeks of each month.
13. Checks any payroll-related accountability for clearance purposes.
14. Addresses payroll-related inquiries and escalates major concerns to the Payroll Head for settlement.
15. Ensures that the Payroll Head is updated on major issues/concerns.
16. Assists in the Payroll programs and projects.
17. Provides payroll-related information, data, and/or reports, as needed and upon approval by the Payroll Head.
18. Support various HR functions from time to time, contributing to employee-related administrative tasks and documentation.
