The Network & Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Specialist/ Engineer will serve as the primary technical partner for the sales team, acting as the subject matter expert to bridge client business challenges with the company’s technology solutions. This role involves engaging directly with clients to understand their complex infrastructure and security needs, then designing and articulating compelling, robust solutions that demonstrate clear business value to a wide range of audiences, from technical engineers to C-level executives.
To succeed in this role, you need to have:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electronic), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in a pre-sales, solutions architect, or senior technical support role, specifically within the network and cybersecurity domains.
- Core Network Expertise: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing (BGP, OSPF), switching, VPNs, SD-WAN, and modern wireless (Wi-Fi 6/6E) technologies.
- Core Cybersecurity Expertise: Strong, hands-on knowledge of security solutions such as Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR/XDR), SIEM/SOAR, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and cloud security (SASE, CASB).
- Certifications: Professional-level industry is a plus. Security product-certification preferred.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to present complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Mindset: A customer-centric and problem-solving mindset, with a proactive attitude and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced sales environment.
Key Accountabilities
- Solution Architecture & Design: Architect end-to-end network and cybersecurity solutions that address customer requirements. This includes creating high-level designs (HLD), low-level designs (LLD), solution diagrams, and detailed Bill of Materials (BoM).
- Sales & Client Engagement: Partner with Account Managers on client calls and meetings, leading technical discovery sessions to uncover pain points, requirements, and business objectives.
- Technical Presentations & Demos: Develop and deliver compelling presentations, product demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts (POCs) that clearly showcase the value and technical capabilities of our portfolio.
- Proposal & RPF/RFI Response: Author the technical components of proposals, solution descriptions, and responses to Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposal (RFP), ensuring accuracy and alignment with the customer's needs.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the internal and external expert on our network (e.g., SD-WAN, SASE, Wi-Fi) and cybersecurity (e.g., NGFW, EDR/XDR, Zero Trust, CNAPP) solutions, while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the competitive landscape and industry trends.
